La Torretta means not only quality wine, but oil too.
It had the merit of being among the first estates to bring olive growing back to the valley — an activity already practised in the nineteenth century, as the centuries-old olive trees across the area still show.
Small plots surrounding the estate have made it possible, since 2008, to produce bottles of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil of the Tidone Valley — few, but of excellent quality!
